Does Boruto Have Byakugan Or Tenseigan

Now this is where the jougan boruto s dojutsu comes in.

Does boruto have byakugan or tenseigan. So basically there is a big chance that boruto s eye is not the tenseigan since he does not have or has not yet manifested the byakugan yet and he does not have pure otsutsuki blood. He said that boruto possesses the star of hope which highly referring to boruto s right eye. Currently the only known person that has it is uzumaki boruto.

No he has a new type of dojutsu called the jougan 浄眼 meaning pure eye. The tenseigan 転生眼 literally meaning. The tenseigan was originally manifested in hamura otsuski and is the product of an otsuski clan member.

We all know the byakugan is only passed down to members of the hyuga clan who are the descendants of hamura otsutsuki. Boruto having tenseigan wouldn t make sense because he doesn t have otsutsuki chakra and dna. Visually pun intended it resembles his mother s byakugan except for the fact that when active it colors bor.

The only other dojutsu confirmed to be the evolution of the byakugan is the tenseigan. The major theory that has been almost 100 proven now is that boruto does not have the byakugan but rather the tenseigan. Reincarnation eye is a heightened stage of the byakugan similar in principle to the rinnegan it is only seen very rarely in the ōtsutuki clan and even more rarely still in members of the hyūga clan rivaling the rinnegan in power the tenseigan stands apart from the three great dōjutsu 三大瞳術 san daidōjutsu literally meaning.

But my theory is that it is a new variation since boruto has the hyuga blood and the uzamaki senju blood. Both need 2 descendant clan s dna for the specific dojutsu and boruto just so. Based on this information and toneri s origin some people suspect that jougan is a dojutsu in byakugan tenseigan line.

So basically both have one clan of the body and one clan of the eyes like ashura and indra or the uchiha to the senju. Now why does the sharingan have more evolutions than the byakugan while it isn t the otsutsuki s main dojutsu. They may also possess a naturally strong connection to natural energy and the ability to telepathically communicate with the tailed beasts.

However going back to that mutation theory boruto could possible have activated a new kekkei genkai. The sharingan is needed for the rinnegan whereas the byakugan is needed for the tenseigan. If anything i see boruto and himawari awakening the byakugan in the future.

In this case it s the uzumaki body and hyuga eyes. So was that being said i do feel like that boruto s byakugan either going to become something different may be tenseigan. That meaning why himawari was capable of and hearing the byakugan as well but her byakugan was not anything different compared to boruto.
